About Cornerstones Publishing

Pam and Mary Jane both knew each other while working at Glenview Community Church/United Church of Christ. While initiating the Workshop Rotation program there under Mary Jane’s leadership, they were founding members of a network of churches in the Chicago area that simply wanted to share ideas. The network put out a newsletter and before they knew it, we were organizing a national conference. Within two months, we had 200 people from all over the country. At that conference, people asked us for the curriculum we had written for our church. We soon realized that we did not have to go to a denominational publishing house, risking the mutations that would take place when an editor has to work within a defined template. So, we launched Cornerstones and became our own publisher.

The immediate benefit that we had not anticipated initially was that we could do what no other curriculum company could do: let the customer customize the purchase of lessons to the needs of their own individual church. We have printed on command for several years, and then went high tech, offering you the same customized fit and making it available to you within minutes. God has opened many doors for this to happen.
